I saw a bird perched on a small tree. As it opened its wings to fly, it revealed its gray and white striped wings.
It made me think about how God put so much thought into every single thing He created.
Isn’t it an amazing thought that God designed that bird? And He designed every type of soil and rock? And every flower? And you and me?
Imagine the thought and love that went into designing everything.
Psalms 139:13-16 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
What thought and love He put into each of us!
Yet, some days we barely give Him a thought.
Some don’t acknowledge Him at all.
And still others even hate Him.
But He loves every single one of us.
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10
God simply loves us because He loves us.
God cares about what you’re going through.
You were in His thoughts when He created you.
And you’re in His thoughts now.
Look around at everything He created, and be reminded of and encouraged by the great love God has for you.
