We’ve all seen snow on one side of the road and grass on the other.
Both areas experienced the exact same conditions, but one remains covered in snow while the other displays grass again.
We all know the sun caused the difference in appearance.
It made me think about our lives.
And how Jesus, the SON of God is able to change our appearances.
When He is the light of our lives, we change.
Malachi 4:2 says, “But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings…”
The neglected child who grew up to be a caring and devoted parent because they know Jesus.
The user everyone thought was a lost cause who got clean because they know Jesus.
The person who was hurt and betrayed but was able to forgive because they know Jesus.
The person who faced overwhelming loss but is able to press on because they know Jesus.
The person no one could blame because of all they’ve been through if they had no joy, but instead have an unexplainable joy because they know Jesus.
Jesus will change your life with His presence.
If you need a change in your life, look to Jesus.
With Him, the sick are healed.
The broken are mended.
The guilty are forgiven.
And the dead are alive.
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”Psalms 84:11
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”1 Peter 1:6-9
