Do you ever see someone else doing well at something and want to do the same?
Maybe you notice everything they are doing and follow the exact same plan but it doesn’t work out for you like it did for them.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you have the same skills, talents, and resources as someone else.
Sometimes you can do the exact same things they are doing and not see the same results.
When this happens, we tend to feel like we’re not good enough, or we’re doing something wrong.
But what if we realized that God simply has different plans for us?
He didn’t create you to copy anyone else.
He created you with specific talents, and specific ideas, and specific ways of doing things.
When we realize that God has a unique plan just for us, and begin following where He leads us even when it looks different from everyone else, we will find true success.
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Proverbs 16:3, 4
