Rest In His Love

Sometimes I get tired of trying to be good enough.

No matter what I do, I feel like it’s not enough.
Then, my loving Father gently reminds me that it’s not about what I can do.
I can never love enough.
Serve enough.
Read my Bible enough.
Pray enough.
He loves me at my best and He loves me at my worst.
Parents don’t love their children because they always clean their room, never fight, and always do what they’re told.
They love them because of who they are.
God loves us because we are His children.
When you get overwhelmed with all the things you’re trying to do, remember you’re loved right where you are.
Rest.
Take comfort in knowing Your Heavenly Father isn’t frowning down on you, but looking at you with a love unlike any other. A perfect love.
When you’re weary, fall on Him.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
